The daily newspaper Il Mattino and PwC have unveiled the top 500 companies in Campania by revenue during the sixth edition of the "Top 500" event, held at Porta del Parco in Bagnoli. Among the leading businesses in the Campania region, the Ludoil Group stands out for its stability and innovative capacity, reaffirming its strategic role in the energy sector.
With its headquarters in Milan, Ludoil has a solid presence in Campania, supported by its operational center in San Gennaro (NA) and its coastal depot in Torre Annunziata (NA), which serve as key assets for fuel logistics and distribution.
A remarkable year of growth in 2023
In 2023, the Ludoil Group reported revenues of €2.58 billion, marking a 57% increase compared to 2022. The Group distributed over 1,657 million tons of fuel, reflecting a 58% growth. Its market share rose from 1.8% to 2.9%, strengthening the Group's leadership through a strategy focused on diversifying supply sources and enhancing long-term partnerships.
First Half of 2024: positive results and new opportunities
In the first half of 2024, the Group continued its growth trajectory, recording revenues of €1.72 billion, with an EBITDA of €40.1 million and a net profit of €18.2 million. Total fuel sales reached 1,050,009 tons, an increase of 45% compared to the same period in 2023, raising its market share to 4%.
Notable successes during the semester include a strategic agreement with ITA Airways for the supply of JET A-1 and SAF fuels at Rome Fiumicino Airport, as well as the strengthening of partnerships with key players in the bunker sector. These achievements further solidify Ludoil's position in the market.
