Safety: Sodeco achieves ISO 45001 Certification for its OH&S Management System

Sodeco has obtained ISO 45001:2018 certification for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S). This certification stands as clear evidence of the company’s ongoing commitment to adopting increasingly higher standards for safeguarding health and safety within its assets.

The company, a leader in the Logistics business unit of the Ludoil Group and owner of the coastal storage facilities in Civitavecchia, has strengthened its ability to identify, prevent, and mitigate risks associated with its operations. This achievement is not only technical but also deeply human, as it places the well-being and safety of individuals at the core of its values. The certification process was entrusted to the accredited body RigCert and carried out with the invaluable support of Assocostieri.

Sodeco voluntarily chose to embark on the ISO 45001:2018 certification process, which involved the implementation of operational safety procedures that are continuously updated, integrated, and improved through periodic audits conducted by certification bodies. This accomplishment is the result of a shared effort made possible by the expertise and dedication of the HSE Team.
