Belpasso (CT), 11th November 2021 - Luce S.p.A. acquired Raco S.r.l., a company that operates a composting plant for the treatment of the organic fraction of municipal solid waste (ofmsw).
The acquisition of Raco is part of the green investment plan, focusing on diversifying the Group’s core business. The production of biomethane indeed represents a unique opportunity for the generation of sustainable fuels from organic and inorganic feedstocks, simultaneously promoting a circular business model based on the conscious use of resources.
The acquisition of Raco reaffirms Luce’s commitment, a forefront entity of the Ludoil Group in the energy transition strategy, to identify tangible solutions for the Country’s sustainable development goals.
