Milan, November 23, 2023 - The company Raco S.r.l., a subsidiary of Ludoil Energy S.p.A., in a Project Financing operation, has signed a financing contract of EUR 100,000,000.00 with a pool of lenders including Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A., Banco BPM S.p.A., and BPER Banca S.p.A., for the construction of a new anaerobic digestion plant ("Plant").
The Plant represents the first phase of an ambitious project by the Ludoil Group to create a Production Hub for sustainable fuels from organic and inorganic sources. The goal of the Ludoil Group is to contribute to the country's energy transition through investments in waste-to-value platforms capable of producing over 50 million cubic meters of biomethane.
